This luxury-quality 30-suite building in Eau Claire, just behind the Prince's Crossing condos, was completed early in 2010. Oscar is an 11-storey concrete building with a two-storey stone and brick-clad podium and a tower of glass curtain walls of floor-to-ceiling tinted windows, corner balconies with glass-insert railings, and a metal sculpture atop the roof. The builder is the Eden Group of Companies, active in both Calgary and Vancouver. The name stems from the Acadamy Awards, with each suite plan named after a winner.

Two-level townhouse-style homes fill the podium, while floors above have only three suites each until the two penthouses. All suites have nine-foot ceilings, hardwood flooring in living/dining areas, a large natural-gas fireplace, and two-bedroom tower suites each have long exterior walls of windows and a corner wrap-around balcony. All finishing and fixtures are high end. The one-bedroom suites in the tower are at the back facing south with two corner balconies, one west and one east---'nice!

Oscar's Condo Plan will be registered upon the building's completion. Exterior windows and doors will be common property. I have on file all floor plans except for the two penthouses, which must have sold before I got there.
