Vistas of Erlton ("Earlton")4 through 20 Erlton Terrace SW
Ten modernist bare-land condominium townhouses were built on this isolated sliver of land in 2003. The site backs onto the south end of St. Mary's Cemetery, and across the narrow dead-end Terrace is Enmax-owned land with a small electrical substation, with Mission Road beyond, leaving these homes with no one behind or in front of them.....no one noisy, anyway.
These buildings are modern frame construction with stucco cladding. Every home has tandem (two in a row) indoor parking and storage, with room for another two cars on the driveway. Above that are two levels totalling about 1,700 sq. ft with high ceilings, a split-level main floor, three bedrooms, a den, 2.5 bathrooms and a loft area. Each home has four balconies, although one of them's not big enough for much use. The back deck space is nice, as there's nothing behind but lawn and then the cemetery.
Walk a few steps up there and you have a vista of Mission and downtown. Interiors are modernist with a variety of high-end finishings. Captain Kirk would feel right at home here; very 21st century.
